Our evening Spanish courses are perfect for expats living in Palma who work or study during the day. Designed for those who can’t attend an intensive daytime program, these part-time classes provide a flexible and effective way to enhance your Spanish skills.
Class Details:
- Classes per week: 4 group classes of 50 minutes each (two on Mondays and two on Wednesdays or two on Tuesdays and two on Thursdays)
- Timetable: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, 7:30 PM – 9:10 PM
- Course duration: 4-52 weeks. A 2-week break over Christmas (last class December 20th, recommencing January 7th). All classes will be made up for.
- Location: Maxx Institutes, Avenida Portugal 1, 07012 Palma de Mallorca
- Levels: Complete beginners (A1) to advanced (C1). New groups start on specific dates, and students can join any time after taking a free level test (without obligation to sign up).
- Class size: Minimum 3 students, average 6, maximum 12
Course Content & Methodology:
- Levels: A1 (Beginner) to B2 (Upper Intermediate), with private lessons available for C1 and C2.
- Focus: Grammar and conversation, with emphasis on the 4 key skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Approach: Integrated lessons that combine grammar, vocabulary, and real-life communication scenarios.
- Materials: We use the Aula Plus textbook for levels A1 to C1 and Nuevo Prisma C2 for C2. Each book is required for class, and can be purchased at school (valid for 3 months).
- Teachers: Qualified instructors with university degrees who speak English and potentially other languages. Teachers rotate throughout the course, ensuring a diverse learning experience. You’ll experience different teaching styles and accents, simulating real-life communication.
For Beginners and Beyond:
- If you’re new to Spanish or would like to start from scratch, join one of our beginner groups starting on specific dates. For students with some knowledge of Spanish, you can join a group suited to your level after taking our level test.
Start Dates 2025:
If you already have some knowledge of Spanish, you can join a group any week of the year. If you’re a complete beginner, here are the start dates for new groups:
